The methyl benzoate is an organic compound formed by the condensation of methanol and benzoic acid. As a kind of ester, it is a colorless and oily liquid with a pleasant smell, and it is poorly soluble in water, but miscible with organic solvents. Main Applications:

1. The methyl benzoate is widely utilized as solvent for cellulose ether, cellulose ester, synthetic resin, rubber, etc.

3. It serves as a dyeing auxiliary for polyester fiber.
